Objectives
• Use the capabilities of Aspen HYSYS Upstream version 2006 to enable shared workflow between production modeling and facilities modeling
Course Benefits
• Use the same oil modeling tools in Aspen HYSYS that are typical in production engineering software (e.g. black oil models, creating hypothetical components from PVT lab data, model tuning using bubble point data)
• Use the black oil translator to transition back and forth between black oil models and component-based oil models within a single Aspen HYSYS flowsheet
• Perform Component Lumping and Production Allocation using new tools in Aspen HYSYS Upstream
• Solve system wide debottleneck and optimization problems by tightly integrating hydraulic models with your facilities models using Aspen Hydraulics
• Solve system wide problems by tightly integrating your existing hydraulic models built in Schlumberger’s PIPESIM with your Aspen HYSYS facilities models
