Job Description:
|
Brega Petroleum Marketing Co. is planning to construct a new oil terminal & three connecting pipelines in accordance with the latest applicable international standards. The land area available is about 100 hectares, for the Terminal facilities (about 45 hectares will be for the Terminal & the rest for the future expansions, safety, car & truck parking area. The Terminal will handle white products namely: (GAS OIL, LPG, GASOLINE, KEROSENE, JET FUEL) with a total capacity of around 600MT. Number of tanks and their capacities shall be determined by the consultant according to the given total capacity of each individual product. Three pipelines are namely:
- A – Zawia multi product pipelines connecting Zawia area (refinery, Brega Terminal) possible connection to Mellitah complex to the New Terminal (called Tripoli Main Terminal TMT three pipes with booster stations are expected. - B – Tripoli – South Power Station which is a single G.O Pipeline with booster station and receiving facilities to connect TMT to Tripoli South Power Station. - C – Tripoli Airport Pipeline to connect TMT to existing jet fuel facilities inside the airport terminal through booster station at TMT. The aim of this scope of work is to receive a bid documents with sufficient information, drawings, specification conditions & scope of work which enable contractors to produce bid documents on equal basis & understanding.

Specific Requirement:
|
• Provide specialist skills, integrity and knowledge in key areas of subsea discipline engineering, including design codes, legislative requirements and current good engineering practice. • Understand clients' needs; identify and address design parameters and problems; develop and implements solutions. • Understand the fundamentals of flexible pipe design and manufacture with ability to review design, non conformance and as built reports and advise project management of suitability of product • Under own or limited supervision, independently evaluate, organise and prioritise work. • Undertake responsibility for production of deliverables, which may include engineering support to DO, design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports, bid evaluations, study reports and various third party submissions. • Liaise with sub-contractors and clients during flexible pipe manufacture and installation • Approve and issues technical documentation, accepting personal responsibility for its adequacy. • Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed. • Train / mentor more junior engineers.
Travelling to Libya on rotational basis is a MUST
