Job Description:
|
The Instrumentation Engineer/Specialist responsible for:
Independently performing and checking engineering calculations.
Participating in the preparation P&ID’s, scope definition and detailed cost estimates.
Preparing scope of work and accompanying data sheets for issue in bid tender and construction packages.
Evaluating vendor proposals and providing recommendations.
Coordinating work with other disciplines.
Development of schedule and reporting progress.
P&ID Development
IN tools database development
Prepare written Specifications for instruments
Prepare RFQ’s and PO’s for instruments
Squad checked vendor drawings.
Prepare written scope of work for instrument contractor
Assist in commissioning and start – up if required.
Mentor junior members of the team

Specific Requirement:

Key Skills:
The Instrumentation Engineer/Specialist is proficient in the design of P&ID’s, instrumentation commodities, control systems, fire and gas systems and drawing requirements. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills and must interact well with internal and external stakeholders to successfully complete required tasks. This position also requires outstanding organizational skills, and Computer software skills including Intools , Word , Excel.
Experience and Qualifications:
This position requires an undergraduate degree in engineering with Professional Engineer status and a minimum of 6 years experience in an EPCM environment within the Oil and G
